William J. McGuire, Ph.D., President and CEO

Bill founded MPS in 1995 bringing over 20 years of industry experience to assessing IRR and enhancing balance sheet performance. He provides strategic direction, product development and technical expertise to the firm. As a former senior vice president with ALM model vendor Sendero Corporation, he headed their client services group. While a vice president at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, Bill managed an IRR and CRA reports service bureau and was a lead member of the team that designed Thrift Bulletin 13 (TB-13), the path breaking thrift IRR regulation. He also has 10 years university teaching experience. Bill is a frequent speaker at industry forums and has published extensively.

Richard G. Sheehan, Ph.D., Senior Vice President, Research

Senior Vice President of Research with MPS and Professor of Finance and Business Economics at Notre Dame University. Rich has over twenty years of university teaching experience in economics and finance and served as a senior research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He is widely published in areas of applied econometrics and financial sector relationships. His current areas of research include modeling and statistically quantifying indeterminate balance sheet behaviors, applications of financial concepts in the banking sector, and the economics of sports industries.

Linda Peck, Chief Operating Officer

Linda provides project management, marketing and production support and operational oversight for accounting, human resources and information technology functions for MPS. She brings over 15 years of experience in marketing research, decision support and project management from prior employment at the Dial Corp. and A.C. Nielsen.

Jeff Wildenthaler, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Jeff manages sales and marketing functions at MPS.  With over 25 years of financial institution experience,  Jeff began his career at National City Bank in Cleveland with a focus on small business lending.  This was followed by twelve years at Sendero Corporation, most recently as Senior Vice President of Global Sales, with focuses on interest rate risk and profitability measurement and management.  Jeff extended his career in financial services by providing financial planning and wealth management solutions for banks, insurance companies and brokerage firms while leading sales at Financial Profiles, Kettley Publishing and eMoney Advisor.

Dan Gentry, Vice President, Sales

Dan brings over 12 years of sales and marketing management expertise to MPS. He has solid experience and success with both start-up and mature companies, having served as the regional sales director for ReSourcePhoenix, a venture-backed outsourcer of accounting and financial reporting services, and as Vice President, Sales and Marketing for the research services division of The BISYS Group, an outsourcer serving the financial industry. Prior to joining BISYS, Dan spent 10 years in bank marketing, controllership and operations management.

Ken Hunt, Senior Vice President, Production

Ken manages the data collection efforts for core deposit analyses and provides programming expertise for automation of data inputs, data manipulation, report presentation and internal processes. He brings over twelve years of experience in areas of financial analysis, ad hoc management reporting, database construction and accounting procedures. Prior to joining MPS, Ken was a financial accountant with Harleysville Insurance Companies, where he created management information systems for management/financial reporting as well as budget and expense reporting and analysis. Ken also was a manager at Progress Federal Savings Bank, working in both branch offices and home office departments including credit analysis, construction lending and finance.

Anne Givens, CFA, Vice President, Consulting

Anne's consulting efforts are directed towards core deposit analyses and ALM model verification services. Anne most recently hails from the Bank of New York, where she was responsible for weekly ALM analyses ensuring that the consolidated Bank’s interest rate risk, liquidity, capital adequacy and pricing decisions met organizational guidelines and goals. Anne has extensive modeling experience in expense analysis, performance driver analysis and merger and acquisitions analysis. Her expertise in the life insurance industry includes pension plan benefit calculations, demutualization trends and analysis, risk based capital reserve analysis and asset liability management.

Jennifer Gage, Vice President, Consulting

Jen manages MPS verification audits for IPS-Sendero software, including BPS, PPS, OPS, Sendero AL and DMS.  Prior to joining MPS, she spent nearly 10 years at Marquette Bank, beginning as an assistant branch manager and progressing to a senior financial analyst and regional finance officer.  Jen managed the Northern Region Finance Group, and had responsibility for profit planning, forecasting and monthly financials.  She played an integral role in the design and implementation of the bank’s profitability systems and management reporting packages, and supported the ALCO and pricing committees.

Beth Doering, Vice President, Consulting

Beth manages MPS verification audits for Profitstar, Farin Foresight, Darling, Plansmith, QRM and IPS-Sendero ALM models.  Prior to joining MPS, she worked for Profitstar for over six years in customer support, moving ultimately to Director of Training.  Beth was also an internal auditor for First National Bank in Omaha, and a Credit Union examiner for the State of Iowa.

Madonna Ritter, Vice President, Consulting

Madonna manages MPS verification audits for PROFITstar and Farin Foresight ALM models.  Prior to her position at MPS, she was Vice President of Client Services at Profitstars, and in her 13 year tenure there worked in areas of client education, e-learning, conference training and consulting.

Lance Tedrow, Vice President, Consulting

Lance manages MPS verification audits for the IPS-Sendero ALM model.  Prior to joining MPS, he was a Treasury Analyst at Sterling Savings Bank for 7 years, where he implemented and maintained their ALM model and provided support to ALCO.
