Jeff Wildenthaler, President
Jeff joined MPS in 2007 and manages sales and marketing functions, in addition to client relationships in the Northeast, Southwest and West Coast. With over 25 years of financial institution experience, Jeff began his career at National City Bank in Cleveland with a focus on small business lending. This was followed by twelve years at Sendero Corporation, most recently as Senior Vice President of Global Sales, with focuses on interest rate risk and profitability measurement and management. Jeff extended his career in financial services by providing financial planning and wealth management solutions for banks, insurance companies and brokerage firms while leading sales at Financial Profiles, Kettley Publishing and eMoney Advisor.
Richard G. Sheehan, Ph.D., Senior Vice President, Research
Senior Vice President of Research with MPS and Professor of Finance and Business Economics at Notre Dame University. Rich has over twenty years of university teaching experience in economics and finance and served as a senior research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He is widely published in areas of applied econometrics and financial sector relationships. His current areas of research include modeling and statistically quantifying indeterminate balance sheet behaviors, applications of financial concepts in the banking sector, and the economics of sports industries.
Elaine Halliday, CPA, Senior Vice President, Production
Elaine joined MPS in 2009 and manages the MPS deposit/loan analyses and FAS-related services group. She has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining MPS, Elaine was a Group Operations Manager and Sr. Finance Manager at Bank of America, where she managed the operations and financial management and planning of the Card division’s collateral and fulfillment areas. Additionally, she was with Fiserv (IPS-Sendero) for approximately 10 years in a number of roles, including Client Services, Training and Technical Support, Sales, and Marketing. Elaine is a Certified Public Accountant and is a Six Sigma Greenbelt in both DFSS and DMAIC.
Christine Mills, Senior Vice President, Consulting
As head of the Model Verification practice, Ms. Mills oversees a consulting team providing verification services for ALM models, DFAST/CCAR models, liquidity models, mortgage-related models, and other financial models. In this role, Chris is primarily responsible for client management and verification reviews. She also is a verification producer specializing in all DFAST/CCAR models, SunGard Ambit ALM models, liquidity function and model reviews, and mortgage prepayment models. Before joining McGuire in 2012, Chris was Vice President, Investment Banker at Gleacher & Company (2011-2012) and Director, Investment Banker at Sunrise Securities (2009-2011). Her prior roles include SVP, ALM Manager at Colonial Bank (2005-2009) and SVP, ALM Manager at Compass Bank (1994-2005). Chris holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses and earned a BA in Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Madonna Ritter, Senior Vice President, Consulting
As a leader of the Model Verification practice, Ms. Ritter is responsible for working with the sales team to understand client needs and schedule projects, manage the consulting team’s schedule, and assign projects. Before joining McGuire in 2006, Madonna was Vice President of Client Services at ProfitStars and was responsible for managing the Client Support, Education, Training and Consulting areas. She worked at ProfitStars for a total of 13 years, advancing from a Director of eLearning position, where she introduced web-based support to the company’s Client Services and sales and marketing teams. Madonna earned a BA degree in Business Administration from Buena Vista University and a MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Beth Doering, Senior Vice President, Consulting
Ms. Doering is responsible for performing verifications of several ALM models, including QRM, BancWare, ZM, Fiserv, ProfitStars, Farin, Baker, Darling, FinPro, and Plansmith. Beth also performs certifications on ALM models for ALM vendors and consults with clients on specialty projects such as stress and sensitivity testing, model implementations and modeling behavioral IRR inputs. Before joining McGuire in 2005, she worked at ProfitStars in Director of Training, Consultant, and Senior Support Analyst positions from 1999 to 2005. Beth also served as Internal Auditor at First National Bank of Omaha from 1996 to 1998 and as Examiner with the State of Iowa Credit Union Division from 1993 to 1996. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from Midland Lutheran College.
James L. Glueck, CFA, FRM, PRM, Senior Vice President, Consulting
As a seasoned practitioner within the Model Verification practice, Mr. Glueck has worked extensively with multiple ALM modeling frameworks, including QRM, BancWare, and Fiserv Sendero. James is also skilled with funds transfer pricing, liquidity risk, stress testing, model risk management, and the modeling of non-maturity deposits, mortgages, commercial loans, investments, and bank-owned life insurance. He joined MPS in 2014 after holding senior model validation roles with PNC Bank and JPMorgan Chase, where he directed the independent review of financial and market risk models, including core corporate treasury and mortgage banking models. James has more than 17 years of experience serving financial institutions as an ALM/treasury manager, model governance and validation specialist, and ALM advisory consultant.
Jennifer Gage, Senior Vice President, Consulting
Ms. Gage is responsible for providing verifications and data audits on ALM models and specializes in verifications for Fiserv A/L. Prior to joining the company in 2003, Jen spent nearly 10 years at Marquette Bank (now Wells Fargo), beginning as Assistant Branch Manager and progressing to Senior Financial Analyst and Regional Finance Officer – a position in which she managed the bank’s Northern Region Finance Group and had responsibility for profit planning, forecasting and monthly financials. Jen also played an integral role in the design and implementation of Marquette Bank’s profitability systems and management reporting packages and supported the ALCO and pricing committees. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration/Finance from Augustana College.
Lance Tedrow, Vice President, Consulting
Within the Model Verification practice, Mr. Tedrow is responsible for managing verification audits on Fiserv A/L, ProfitStars, Balance Sheet Management Services, Baker and other ALM models. Before joining McGuire in 2007, Lance worked for nine years as Treasury Analyst at Sterling Savings Bank, where he was involved in the bank’s asset/liability management, including interest rate risk analysis, investments, liquidity, cash management, budgeting, regulatory compliance and reporting, and ALCO support. He earned a BA degree in Business Administration, with a Finance emphasis, from Eastern Washington University.
Dan O'Neill, Vice President, Consulting
As part of the Model Verification practice, Mr. O’Neill is responsible for providing verifications of asset/liability management models and mortgage servicing rights models. Before joining McGuire in 2011, Dan did private consulting from 2008 to 2011 and worked at Fiserv in various positions, including Product Manager, from 1991 to 2008. His prior experience includes an AVP of Investments position at Lincoln National Bank from 1989 to 1991 and an Asset/Liability Analyst position at Amcore Bank from 1981 to 1989. Dan earned BA degrees in Business Administration and Classical Languages from Rockford College.
Linda Aust, Vice President, Consulting
As part of the Model Verification practice, Ms. Aust is responsible for verification of Interest Rate Risk options within the ProfitStars and Darling models. In this role, Linda specializes in review of IRR policies, and she spoke in the Directors View of Interest Rate Risk session at the 2014 FHLB Chicago Conference for Credit Unions. In the 14 years prior to joining McGuire in 2012, Linda held the Controller position at a variety of companies. From 1989 to 1998, Linda worked for ProfitStars in client support and consulting positions, including Director of Client Support. She has also served on the Board of Directors for Centris Federal Credit Union since 2003 in Secretary, Treasurer, Board Chair and First Vice-Chair positions, and was a member of the credit union’s ALCO for several years. Linda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an Accounting major, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and she completed the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) Director’s Leadership Institute II Program within the IESE Business School at the University of Navarra.
Terri John, Vice President, Consulting
As part of the Model Verification practice, Ms. John is responsible for comprehensive ALM model validations and balance sheet risk-related projects. Terri also provides DFAST/CCAR model validations at multiple levels as well as liquidity function reviews. She joined the company in 2015 from Visions Federal Credit Union, where she served as ALM/Investment Manager. Terri’s prior positions include Vice President of Asset Liability Management at Susquehanna Bancshares, Credit Risk Manager at Susquehanna Commercial Finance, and Eastern District Finance Manager at CNH Capital. She earned Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics and Political Science from Juniata College.
Karen Schwall, Vice President, Sales, Credit Union Partner Development
Karen is responsible for relationship management and sales development with credit unions. In this role, she focuses on acquiring new clients, as well as growing sales within the current client base, by creating and implementing business and marketing plans. Before joining MPS in 2014, Karen worked at Idea5 as an independent consultant, conducting market research for the startup SaaS company and advising on a variety of staff projects, including marketing plans, product development plans, and product testing. From 2003 to 2013, Karen served as Director of Partner Relations at Balance, where she developed and led a program representing $5 million in annual company revenue, oversaw the onboarding of credit union partnerships to the program, managed partnership initiatives and supervised the program’s staff. Her prior experience includes a 1992 to 2003 Senior Vice President role at industry-leading software firm Profitstar, where she was responsible for strategic planning and growth related to annual revenues of nearly $7 million in the US and Canada markets. Karen earned an MBA in Corporate Finance from Georgia State University and a BSBA in Management and Marketing from Shorter College.
Anthony Eramo, Vice President, Sales
Tony manages MPS relationships with midsize and large banks, seeking to understand each institution’s unique balance sheet challenges and offer solutions that enhance performance and compliance. Tony brings more than 25 years of banking experience to this role, most recently serving as SVP, CFO at United Bancshares. He previously held several positions at Huntington National Bank, including SVP, Strategic Planning; CFO of the Wealth, Government and Home Lending Division; SVP, Segment Risk Officer; and SVP, Deposit Pricing Director. Prior to Huntington, he served in several finance roles, including VP, Margin Manager at Sky Financial Group, and CFO at Three Rivers Bank. Tony earned a BS in Finance from Penn State University and a MBA in Finance from the University of Bridgeport.
Bertrand Laurent, Managing Director, Community Institutions
Bertrand joined MPS in January 2017 to assist community banks in meeting regulatory requirements and improving their strategic modeling processes through ALM model verification and core deposit studies. Previously, as a Relationship Manager at Fiserv, he helped banks and credit unions improve operational efficiency, meet regulatory requirements, and increase profitability. Bertrand previously held a position of Regional Sales Manager at IPS-Sendero, serving banks and credit union of all sizes in the U.S. and Canada with ALM and profitability measurement. He began his career in financial services as Marketing Supervisor at Sendero. Bertrand attended Arizona State University, where he earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing.
Stephanie Huang, Senior Financial Analyst
Stephanie produces client reports for MPS Smart Ramps© and core deposit index services and supporting analysis for MPS deposit, loan and FAS valuation services. She has 10 years of experience in financial analysis, auditing and accounting. Prior to joining MPS in 2011, she worked at BDO Seidman, LLP as an Assurance Associate, auditing financials for a variety of industries. She also held financial analyst positions in several manufacturing firms in China, preparing annual budget, investment spending, rolling forecast and variance analyses.
Conan Kelly, Database Administrator and Analyst
Mr. Kelly is responsible for ensuring the successful integration of client data into MPS databases and diagnostic files for loan and deposit studies. Conan also provides programming support for MPS’ workflow processes and innovation initiatives. He joined MPS in 2005 and has attended Paradise Valley Community College, working toward an AAS degree in Computer Information Systems.
Della Zheng, Ph.D., FRM
Vice President, Quantitative Analytics and Production
Within the MPS deposit and loan analysis production team, Della is focusing on statistical analysis and review of core deposit and loan prepayment projects, as well as model documentation and research initiatives. She joined MPS in 2015 from OneWest Bank, bringing a wide range of skills and experience in the development, implementation and validation of several types of financial models. At OneWest Bank, Della most recently served as Vice President in the Financial Modeling Group and previously held the titles of Vice President, Asset Liability Committee – ALM Group; Vice President, Asset Liability Committee – Forecasting Group; and Asset Liability Committee – Model Control Group. At IndyMac Bank, the predecessor of OneWest Bank, she served as Senior Analyst, Enterprise Risk Management – Model Management and Research Group. She holds bachelor, master and doctorate degrees, has passed three levels of CFA exams, and earned the FRM certification.
Tracy Smith, Vice President, Production
Tracy joined the MPS deposit and loan analysis production team in 2015, bringing a wide range of database, financial analysis and project management skills. His current focus on is on deposit analysis projects. Tracy previously worked for 15 years within Fiserv’s Risk and Performance Solutions Group, where he was Lead Business Analyst/Product Manager for Funds Transfer Pricing and Data Management products. Prior to Fiserv, he held the position of Assistant Vice President/Financial Analyst at Bank of America in the Financial Reporting Division. Tracy earned a BA degree in Business Administration, with a Finance emphasis, from Western Washington University.
